Adelaide Aduboffour, the founder and director of Peri Health limited is a highly focused and knowledgeable experienced midwife. She started working in the NHS for over 10 years ago, and through many years of working on the delivery suit, provide consultancy, training and routine teaching sessions on perineal suturing for midwives, junior doctors and students. Her current role is Perineal Specialist Midwife and she works in a busy NHS maternity unit in London, where she has recently established a thriving perineal clinic. Adelaide works with midwives on the Labour ward to improve their competency in perineal assessment and more importantly deepening their knowledge and skills in suturing. She also works as a part time midwifery lecturer at University of West London and facilitates suturing workshops for student midwives at the University. She is a published author.
